Entry requirements for France and the Netherlands
France's borders have reopened and most restrictions have been removed. Travellers no longer need to show a vaccine pass to enter leisure facilities.
If you are fully vaccinated: all travellers aged 12 and over can travel with no restrictions. Fully vaccinated means that you have had your booster jab or your second jab was taken no more than 270 days (9 months) before your holiday. You will need to show proof of vaccination which can be obtained with the NHS Covid Pass and complete a 'sworn statement' that they are symptom free, which can be downloaded from the French government website.
If you are not fully vaccinated and aged 12 or over: you will need to produce a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of their departure, or a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before their departure, and complete the sworn statement. There is no longer a requirement to have an essential reason to travel.
Under 12s: there are no COVID-19 travel restrictions for under 12s.
Full details of the latest requirements are here on the gov.uk website.
Fully vaccinated travellers can visit The Netherlands. Under 18s are exempt if they are travelling with fully vaccinated parents. Adults who are not fully vaccinated are not permitted to enter The Netherlands, except for certain essential reason or unless they have recovered from COVID in the past 180 days. Full details are here.
Testing requirements for coming back to the UK
There are no longer any testing, quarantine or form-filling requirements for your return to the UK, regardless of your vaccination status.
