Travelling by Eurotunnel
The Eurotunnel railway shuttle connects Folkestone in Kent to Calais in Northern France and is one of the easiest ways of bringing your own car across the channel. The crossing takes under 40 minutes and allows you to easily travel from motorway to motorway with ease. Travelling by tunnel shuttle is a great option for getting to our Dutch parks (In de Bongerd is just 3 hours’ drive from the Calais terminal) but can also be a practical choice for reaching some of our campsites in Northern France such as Domaine de Litteau in Normandy.
Best campsites to visit from the Eurotunnel Channel Crossing
Most Siblu guests either head west to the northern parks in Normandy, such as our holiday park Domaine de Litteau, to the Loire, just south of Paris to holiday park Domaine de Dugny, or north into the Netherlands to our Siblu parks In de Bongerd and De Oase.
Alternatively, from the Eurotunnal landing point at Calais, it's a straightforward drive down to the south of France, either to the French Alps or the Languedoc area in the south coast of France where you'll find holiday parks such as La Carabasse and Le Lac des Reves.
