Couples' Getaways in France
Holidays for Couples with Siblu
Where do you want to go?
Where do you want to go?
Holiday parks are well known for being great places for families, but why do they suit couples so well?
Siblu holiday parks are particularly favoured for couples holidays in France for a few reasons. Firstly, location. Siblu parks are located in some of the most lovely spots in France, quiet locations but within easy reach of nearby seaside resorts and places of interest.
Secondly the quality of accommodation where you have your own privacy is high on the reasons of choice. Our two (or three) bedroom mobile home, with a fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathrooms inside, moving to a private terrace and garden area, is a big win for a relaxed sunshine holiday.
Plus, when you do venture from your accommodation, there is plenty to do within walking distance – a swim in the onsite pool, perhaps a game of tennis or boules, or just a drink at the picturesque bar watching the world go by. You can find out more about the sports and activities on park here.

Swimming Pools & Water Activities
Each of our Siblu parks have superb swimming pools. Enjoy heated outdoor pools, with several of our parks in the north and on the west coast also offering indoor pools. In the mornings you can often find lane swimming and classes such as aqua aerobics, whilst in the afternoon you can relax on a lounger with a good book!
-
Sports Facilities & Fitness Classes
As a couple, you can stay energised together in our range of fitness activities! Join one of the classes, such as stretching, yoga, even step. Selected parks have trim tracks which run round the outskirts of the park, there are often gyms on site, depending on the park, plus of course a variety of sport activities such as archery, boules, 5-aside football and tennis.
-
On-site Spa Facilities
There's nothing like a massage at one of our wellness parks to provide complete relaxation! Head to our beauty experts on selected Siblu sites and you can treat yourself to a body massage, facial, hand or foot care. Selected Siblu parks also have saunas, and you can also steam and detox at the hammams (steam rooms) which is great for relaxing tense muscles.

Great places to eat and drink
Being in France you'll want to discover all the great local places to eat and drink. But for lazy nights in, you can head down the onsite restaurant to enjoy some great authentic French food. Each of our Siblu parks in France offer cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes, along with a great selection of drinks, including cocktails.
Discover the romance of France
When you’re not chilling on park, then take some time to discover the local area and of course, all the new dining options that are available.
There will always be a local market close to the park, either a short drive or cycle ride away. Some of the best days can be spent cycling from the park to the nearest resort or village, wandering the markets and stopping off for an al fresco lunch and drink.
Don’t hesitate to ask a member of the Siblu team for their recommendations for somewhere to eat – almost all the team live locally and can give you the best advice. Obviously TripAdvisor is your friend as well for top tips on the best attractions to visit. Many seaside resorts will offer the typical tourist menus and these restaurants can be good, especially if they specialise in fish and other seafood. But, as mentioned, if you get a good tip from a local, you can discover some really lovely restaurants away from the main tourist areas.
There are the obvious tourist attractions in the south of France such as Nice, Cannes, St Tropez on the med coast, and Bordeaux, Biaritz, and La Rochelle on the west coast, but don’t forget the hidden gems that are waiting to be discovered. For example, in the area of the Charente there are so many places to visit that will be real highlights of your holiday. Visit La Tremblade close to Siblu park La Pignade for amazing seafood on an authentic fishing harbour, visit the Roman ampitheatre at Saintes and wander the small cobbled streets. Enjoy a day tasting the delights of Cognac and Pineau, just an hour inland from our parks on the west coast, Les Charmettes and Bonne Anse Plage.
Siblu is unique in offering you the choice to Choose Your Own – i.e. you can choose your ideal spot within the park—near the pool, close to dining areas or perhaps away from all the action on the edge of the park. Simply select the Choose Your Own option during the booking process and you’ll be able to see all the holiday homes available on a park map. You can click on each of these homes to see exactly what it looks like and what it contains.
Our Siblu holiday homes have been likened to small apartments – but with your own private garden! These are not caravans as you remember them – you’ll discover spacious lounges, kitchens that open onto lovely terraces, bedrooms with en-suite facilities.
All of our mobile homes offer a minimum of two bedrooms, perfect for extra storage or a spare room if you need it!
Al Fresco dining
It’s the outdoor dining area that makes the holiday home so special. Each holiday home has its own private garden area and most have terraces, attached to the home so that you can easily walk out from the kitchen to your secluded space. Perfect for a relaxed breakfast, snack lunch or a BBQ dinner (BBQs provided where local restrictions allow).
Glamping options
Selected Siblu parks offer some glamping options if you like the idea of being in a romantic safari tent under the stars, or a cosy wooden cabin surrounded by woodland and nature. You can find out more about our glamping options here.
You have a great choice of location with Siblu – but you’ll be glad to hear that we’ve narrowed down the choice to the best locations! Siblu’s top locations include all around the coast of France, from Normandy and Brittany in the north, all along the west coast from the Vendee down to the Landes region, south of Bordeaux, to the Mediterranean coast and the Cote d’Azur.
Plus we feature a couple of inland holiday parks in the heart of the Loire and in Rhone Alpes, close to the French Alps and the Pilat and Vercors national parks.
As mentioned earlier, we choose our holiday parks so that they are in peaceful spots, not in the centre of resorts where you can hear noise and traffic, but in quiet locations where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful break.
At most holiday parks it’s then an easy cycle ride or very short drive to nearby villages, towns and the coast. This means it’s a great holiday for a mix of relaxation, beach time and discovering fascinating local attractions, towns and of course, great places to eat and drink. Take a look at our top picks below but bear in mind that all our sites have something great to offer for couples, both for great accommdotion and a lovely resort to visit in France.
We look forward to welcoming you as a couple across all of our Siblu parks and hope that the information and top tips here reassure you that you’ll love a holiday with us here in France.
