Thinking about a family camping trip in France? It's tricky, as France is a hugely popular destination for camping so there is a lot of choice of top quality campsites across the country. Most campsites in France now offer a range of accommodation, including static caravans or touring pitches, but whichever you choose, you'll always get the feeling of being on an outdoors holiday that are great for allowing families to relax and have fun together.
With a great camping base, you are then free to experience the best of what your particular chosen region of France has to offer. Think exploring epic landscapes, swimming in the sea, walking along cliff tops, trying out cool outdoor activities, or just chilling under the stars. No matter what floats your boat, there's something for everyone.
Plus, you get to soak up France's amazing culture. Whether it's checking out quaint villages or digging into tasty local cuisine, you'll get a real taste of French life from our Siblu campsites in France.
Accommodation at our Family Campsites in France
Each Siblu family campsite offers high-end, comfortable, and stylish holiday homes to rent in France. These modern static caravans can accommodate up to 8 people, with plenty of space for you all to relax. All our mobile homes feature 2 or 3 bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator, cooking hob, microwave, and all the utensils needed to prepare your meals. Most of them also come with a wooden outdoor terrace complete with garden furniture, allowing you to enjoy beautiful summer evenings with your children. Opting for a mobile home means choosing the ideal accommodation for a week-long holiday with your little tribe.
For families who love traditional camping, some of our family campsites also offer superb camping pitches where you can set up your tent, camper van, or caravan and enjoy the high-quality amenities of our Siblu holiday villages.
Family-Friendly Camping in Brittany
For an amazing family camping holiday in Brittany, we have two fabulous 4-star holiday parks in this region, both brilliant for families with children. Our campsite, Domaine de Kerlann, situated in south Finistère near Pont-Aven, is a very pretty campsite, with lovely landscaping that is filled to the brim with great facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bars and restaurant. Plus, it's close to some famous attractions such as Concarneau's historic Ville-Close, the medieval town of Quimper, the Fouesnant les Glénan and Morlaix Bay. Our other campsite in south Brittany is camping Le Conguel, in Morbihan, which is situated next to a beautiful beach and close to the Carnac standing stones.
Family Camping in the Landes
The south Atlantic coast remains a bit of a hidden gem, with most holiday makers who want to go to the south of France heading down to the Côte d'Azur or the Languedoc. However, this region, just south of Bordeaux, is a great spot for families looking for an active camping holiday in France. All our campsites in the Landes region of southwestern France are set in peaceful pine forests, close to sandy beaches which are great for a spot of body boarding and surfing. You can choose from camping Les Oyats in Seignosse, camping Le Pipiou in Parentis-en-Born, camping Mimizan Lac, as well as La Pointe in Capbreton, Les Dunes de Contis, and Mimizan Plage. We also offer camping La Réserve, which has a private beach on Lake Parentis-Biscarrosse, perfect for families with young children. Whether it's surfing, hiking, biking, or cultural visits, the Landes offer a wide range of activities to satisfy the whole family.
Family-friendly camping by the Mediterranean
We all know that the Mediterranean, with its warm climate, azure blue waters, and long sandy beaches, is an ideal destination for a family camping trip in France. From the rocky shores of the Côte d'Azur to the golden beaches of Languedoc, the Mediterranean coastline is a beautiful place for our Siblu campsites.
In Vias Plage, Hérault, camping La Carabasse is a lively site in the heart of the seaside resort of Vias. Further up the coast in Lattes, not far from Montpellier, is the 4-star camping Le Lac des Rêves offers panoramic views of Lake Pérols. This is a more rural and peaceful site, but is an easy drive to several lovely beaches.
At Valras-Plage, camping Des Sables du Midi features a great water complex with water games, slides, flumes, and two heated outdoor pools to keep your kids entertained throughout the holiday. Further south, in Pyrénées-Orientales, the 5-star camping Marisol in Torreilles is a brilliant site, with a great pool complex and close to the sea.
At the foot of the Pyrénées, camping Mar Estang offers breathtaking views of Canigou from its water complex, one of Siblu's most prestigious, combining slides, water games, and pools for everyone's enjoyment, especially children and teens.
Finally, if you want to stay on the Côte d'Azur, close to Frejus, Nice and within easy driving distance of St Tropez, then head to our 4-star camping Le Montourey is a relaxing campsite in a peaceful environment.
