Discover the Fort Boyard by boat.
Head to our campsites on the west coast of France for an adventure at sea! Bonne Anse Plage, Les Charmettes and La Pignade campsites, as well as the 5-star Mer et Soleil campsite in Oléron, are ideally located for exploring the famous Fort Boyard.
Take a hike to the Pointe du Conguel
If you're staying at Camping Le Conguel in south Brittany then you can enjoy a fantastic walk to the Pointe du Conguel, in the bay of Quiberon. It's a lovely walk along the coastal path, with great views over the sea.
Adventure in the Gorges du Verdon
The Gorges du Verdon in Provence are fantastic for some outdoor adventure. You can hike, cycle, canoe or kayak, white water raft along this river canyon, following the river Verdon. You can enjoy a day out in the Gorges du Verdon from our Côte d'Azur campsite, Le Montourey.
An inland boat trip in the Marais Poitevin
The Vendée region of France on the west coast is best known for it's long stretches of beautiful golden coast, but head slightly inland and you'll discover the Marias Poitevis, or 'Green Venice'. Here you can hire a flat-bottomed boat and explore the quiet canals in this leafy nature reserve, or take a guided tour. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the coast and fantastic for a relaxing day out on leafy stretches of calm water. You can visit the Marais Poitevin from our Siblu campsites in the Vendee, Le Bois Masson and Le Bois Dormant.

Outdoor sports activities to experience at least once
Horse riding in the Camargue
The Camargue region in the south of France is famous for horses, flamingo's and long stretches of golden beaches. If you'd like to combine all three, then head to one of our Siblu campsites in the south of France and enjoy a horse ride through the countryside to the beach. There are riding stables close by to our Siblu parks in the area, such as La Carbasse and Les Sables du Midi.
Paragliding from the Dune du Pilat
Are you a thrill seeker? Then you have to try paragliding at least once in your life! You can try a jump from the top of the Dune du Pilat over the magnificent Bassin d'Arcachon in the south west of France, from our campsite Les Viviers or Les Embruns.
Surf on the Basque coast
For some serious surfing in the France, head down to the south west coast of France, close to the famous resort of Biarritz. Our 4-star campsites Les Oyats and La Pointe are ideally located destinations to surf, with some good sized waves. There are lots of surf schools close by and places to hire surf boards.
If you're new to surfing or enjoy body-boarding then our campsites on the Cote Sauvage in the Charente Maritime may be a better fit as the waves here are not so big as further south! Stay at campsites Bonne Anse Plage and Les Charmettes for all the surf action.
