The French Atlantic coast

If you love your water sports, you'll love the French Atlantic coast. In the Basque Country, you can practice surfing, whilst the Vendée is perfect for windsurfing. The Breton beaches are good for snorkelling and discovering the many rock pools. 

The French Atlantic coast is great for families. The north provides relaxing beaches, camping in Brittany is great for discovering coves and swimming in calm waters, whilst the more lively sea in the Vendee and Charente Maritime offer opportunities for surfing and bodyboarding. In addition, our numerous campsites near the Atlantic coast offer Free Children's Clubs and activities for young and old.

There's plenty to do on the French Atlantic coast from bike rides along fantastic family-friendly cycle paths, to boat trips in the Gulf of Morbihan, perhaps an introduction to surfing in Hossegor, wine tasting in Bordeaux, climbing the Pilat dune.

Between Pornic and Vannes, you will discover gorgeous beaches, pine forests and famous towns like Guérande or La Baule and our 4-star holiday parks in the Loire Atlantic are very popular. Our favourite destinations: Saint-Brévin-les-Pins, Pornic.

Our favourite destinations are Saint-Jean-de-Monts and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, both being fun seaside resorts, packed with shops, cafes and restaurants. Our campsites in Vendée are perfect for exploring the region and the coast.

Head to the south west of France to our campsites in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Charente-Maritime for hot summer temperatures, great beaches and plenty of places and attractions to visit. Our favourite destinations are La Palmyre, La Tremblade, Biscarrosse, Mimizan and Seignosse.
