Outdoor Activities
The Pierre Attelée Menhirs
Menhirs are standing stones dating back to the Stone Age c.4000 BC. These constructions were mainly used for religious worship and solstice celebrations. You will have the chance to discover them in our campsite near Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef. The Pierre Attelée menhir is only 6km from the campsite. It is the largest on the peninsula and it dominates Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef. You can visit it as well as the menhir of La Souchais and Boivre.
Legendia Park
Located just 5km from the campsite, Legendia Park is a fun attraction for those with young children, featuring animals within a fantasy setting, with shows for a full day's entertainment. It's unique and receives good reviews.
The Salt Marshes
Near our campsite in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef there is a world-famous salt marsh. It may seem an odd tourist attraction, but you can spend an interesting couple of hours here learning about how Guérande salt is produced.
