The Kiekkaaste birdwatchers' huts

Millions of birds live in the Wadden region, and the observation huts located along the coast offer sightings of curlews, white-fronted geese, harriers, short-eared owls, white-tailed sea eagles and other Wadden birds.

Seals at Renesse

On the Renesse coast in the region of Zeeland, bathers share the beaches with seals. These cheeky creatures can often be found sunbathing on the sand banks or playing in the North Sea waves. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of them swimming around and barking at each other. It's an amazing sight to see!

Deltapark Neeltje Jans is theme park that is part wildlife and bird sanctuary, and part interactive museum that teaches visitors about Dutch flood defences.
