Holiday parks in France perfect for families with babies

Siblu makes things easy for an under 5's break, with selected parks are especially good for catering for the babies.

Look out for the Bubbles Playroom, designed especially for 1 - 4 year olds at selected parks. These fun playrooms offer indoor spaces where the grown ups and their little ones can play safely together. Find out more about our children's clubs here.

All of our parks in France have superb swimming pool complexes. Check out the ones that have indoor pools as well, such as Domaine de Kerlann in Brittany and Domaine de Litteau in Normandy which have indoor pools with shallow toddler paddling pools, plus outdoor splash zones.

Some Siblu parks are quieter than others. If you're looking for a peaceful rest with your baby, then take a look at Domaine de Litteau in Normandy or Domaine de Dugny in the Loire Valley, two relaxing parks that have great facilities but have a more peaceful feel.

If you feel like you've missed out on your nights out after having your baby, then lots of our parks have fun evening entertainment that you can take baby too, either in indoor or outdoor venues, all of which allow prams and buggies.

All our holiday parks in France have shops or mini-supermarkets, to top up on baby food and other baby essentials plus all our on-site restaurants cater for babies, with high chairs and food warming available.

Why France for holidays with a baby or toddler?

The best bit about travelling to France for your baby-friendly holiday is that it is just a hop across the channel and immediately you are experiencing a different culture, landscape and ambiance, not far from breathtaking scenery and gorgeous coastlines.

It feels like your holidays haven't been compromised - you still have the opportunity to enjoy a break that's not just about the children. There's plenty to explore and enjoy when you're away from the park, such as the charming food markets, the beautiful historic attractions and of course the beautiful beaches.

A self-drive holiday makes travelling with babies and young children that little bit easier – no long flights and long queues - you can set off at your own pace in your own time. And you pack everything including the kitchen sink, everything you want, without the restrictions of flight travel. (Don't forget you can hire baby-friendly extras at time of booking to save on some space!).

The best French resorts for holidays with babies
All our holiday parks in France are family-friendly, but there are some that are in great spots that particularly suit families with babies and toddlers.

Brittany has some great coastline and within 5 km of Domaine de Kerlann there are at least five great beaches which would suit babies and toddlers. Brittany is famous for it's small, friendly coves, with rocky outcrops but sandy beaches. There are no large surfing waves here to knock your off your feet! The weather in Brittany is mild, better for youngsters with sensitive skin.

Normandy has great long stretches of sandy beach which tends to be gently sloping. Close to Domaine de Litteau you have Omaha Beach, perfect for splashing in shallow water and sand-castle building.

Further down the south west coast you have La Pignade and Les Charmettes in the Charente Maritime. Both these parks are close to family-friendly beaches and holiday resorts, such as La Palmyre. It's also a great area for cycling - you can hire bikes and baby / toddler friendly trailers from the parks and make your way down to the beach via the many bespoke cycle paths. La Palmyre is another beach that's perfect for little ones, offering small coves and shallow water.
