SIBLU LAUNCHES NEW PARC IN FRANCE
French family holiday specialist siblu (www.siblu.com) today announces the launch of its newest holiday parc, following the multi-million pound acquisition of the four-star Pierres Couchées in Loire-Atlantique.
Pierres Couchées, the company’s ninth siblu parc, is located in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins on France’s west coast, around 50 miles from Nantes. The parc is just 300 metres from the nearest beach and is surrounded by tranquil woodland perfect for cycling, walks and picnics.
A mix of luxury mobile homes and chalet accommodation are nestled throughout the pretty parc, which will open for Easter 2007. Holiday prices start from just £222, including Dover-Calais return ferry, for a family staying seven nights in Esprit accommodation, departing 14 April. For information and bookings, call 0870 242 7777 or visit www.siblu.com.
A central amphitheatre provides the focal point of life at Pierres Couchées, as the stage for children’s clubs and evening entertainment. The parc includes a pool complex with waterslide, several playgrounds for small children, and a bar, restaurant and terrace.
Siblu is introducing new facilities and activities at the parc, including free kid’s clubs for toddlers, under 10s and older children, professional soccer coaching and make-travel-easy extras such as linen and baby packs.
The local region offers a combination of captivating coastline, eye-catching countryside and fascinating French towns. Two of the best are Pornic, a beautiful fishing village with Breton charm and Saint-Nazaire, an important seaport with a historic submarine, World War II sub pens and an ocean liner to explore.
Leslie Hurst, siblu CEO says: “Every siblu parc is a carefully created family sanctuary, with free kids clubs and at least 25 leisure facilities and activities. Pierres Couchées is a superb new addition to our portfolio and will be a popular choice for customers in 2007.”
