FRENCH EVENTS NOT TO BE MISSED

After basking in the shadow of newer holiday destinations, France is seeing an upturn in visitors attracted by its sparkling sunshine, big golden beaches, gorgeous scenery and fascinating local attractions.

La Rochelle Cavalcade

The Cavalcade which takes place in the coastal town of La Rochelle from 2-3 June brings two days of fanfare, parades and music to the streets every summer. Cap d'Agde Sand Sculpture Festival

The Sand Sculpture Festival at Cap d'Agde in Languedoc on France’s south coast, is a free event running throughout June.
